The message from the Lord came to Jeremiah. This happened after King Jehoiakim burned the scroll {\cf2\super [315]} that had contained all the messages from the Lord. Jeremiah had spoken to Baruch, and Baruch had written the messages on the scroll. This was the message from the Lord that came to Jeremiah:
Then Jeremiah took another scroll {\cf2\super [318]} and gave it to Baruch son of Neriah, the scribe. {\cf2\super [319]} As Jeremiah spoke, Baruch wrote on the scroll the same messages that were on the scroll that King Jehoiakim had burned in the fire. And many other words like those messages were added to the second scroll.
