Jerusalem had many people, but none of those people became leaders for her. None of the children she raised became guides to lead her.


Make your tent bigger.\par Open your doors wide.\par Don’t stop adding to your home.\par Make your tent large and strong.\par

Disaster follows disaster!\par The whole country is destroyed!\par Suddenly my tents are destroyed!\par My curtains are torn down!\par


Jerusalem’s enemies have won.\par Her enemies have been successful.\par This happened because the Lord\par punished her.\par He punished Jerusalem for her many sins.\par Her children have gone away.\par Their enemies captured them\par and took them away.\par


You have taken nice houses\par away from the women of my people.\par You have taken my wealth\par away from their small children forever.\par
