My Glory [337] will pass by that place. I will put you in a large crack in that rock, and I will cover you with my hand while I pass.


“Look at my Servant!\par I support him.\par He is the one I chose.\par And I am very pleased with him.\par I put my Spirit in him.\par He will judge the nations fairly.\par


The people that respect the Lord also listen to his servant. That servant lives completely trusting in God without knowing what will happen. He truly trusts in the Lord’s name, and that servant depends on his God.


The Lord my Master gave me the ability to teach. So now I teach these sad people. Every morning he wakes me and teaches me like a student.


\{“My servant,\} I will give you the words I want you to say. And I will cover you with my hands and protect you. I will use you to make the new heaven and earth. I will use you to tell Israel, ‘You are my people.’”


As for me, today I will make you\par like a strong city,\par an iron column,\par a bronze wall.\par You will be able to stand\par against everyone in the land,\par against the kings of the land of Judah,\par against the leaders of Judah,\par against the priests of Judah,\par and against the people of the land of Judah.\par

God’s word {\cf2\super [34]} (message) is alive and working. His word is sharper than the sharpest sword. God’s word cuts all the way into us \{like a sword\}. It cuts deep to the place where the soul and the spirit are joined. God’s word cuts to the center of our joints and our bones. It judges the thoughts and feelings in our hearts.


He held seven stars in his right hand. A sharp two-edged sword came out of his mouth. He looked like the sun shining at its brightest time.


A sharp sword comes out of the rider’s mouth. He will use this sword to defeat the nations. He will rule the nations with a rod of iron. He will squeeze \{the grapes\} in the winepress of the terrible anger of God the All-Powerful.


“Write this to the angel of the church in Pergamum:


So change your hearts! If you don’t change, I will come to you quickly and fight against those people with the sword that comes out of my mouth.
