The Lord was with Hezekiah. Hezekiah was successful in everything he did.


You worship God.\par You trust him.\par You are a good man.\par So let that be your hope.\par


Lord, you are my strong Master.\par You are my Savior.\par You are like a helmet protecting my head in battle.\par


The Lord protects his chosen one. {\cf2\super [171]} \par The Lord saves him.\par The Lord is his strength.\par


You look wonderful!\par Go and win the fight\par for goodness and fairness.\par Your powerful right arm\par was trained to do amazing things.\par


Wise people are rewarded by wealth. But foolish people are rewarded by foolishness.


The person who respects the Lord is safe and his children also live in safety.


Respect for the Lord gives true life. It saves a person from death’s trap.


It is better to be poor and respect the Lord than to be rich and have many troubles.


A person who respects the Lord has a good life. That person is satisfied with his life and doesn’t have to worry about troubles.


If you do these things, then you will learn to respect the Lord. You will truly learn about God.


A country filled with people that break the law will have many bad rulers that rule only a short time. But a wise ruler will rule a long time in a country where people understand \{the need to obey the law\}.


If a king is fair, then the nation will be strong. But if a king is selfish and people must pay him to do things for them, then the nation will be weak.


Wisdom and money can protect you. But knowledge gained through wisdom is even better—it can save your life!\par


\{All these things show that there will be peace\}—no person will hurt any other person. People on my holy mountain will not want to destroy things. Why? Because people will truly know the Lord. They will be full of knowledge \{about him\} like the sea is full of water.


At that time, people will sing this song in Judah:


That goodness will bring peace and safety forever.


My people will live in the beautiful field of peace. My people will live in tents of safety. They will live in calm and peaceful places.


Look at Zion {\cf2\super [310]} , the city of our religious holidays. Look at Jerusalem—that beautiful place of rest. Jerusalem is like a tent that will never be moved. The pegs that hold her in place will never be pulled up. Her ropes will never be broken.


But Israel will be saved by the Lord.\par That salvation will continue forever.\par Never, never again will Israel be shamed.\par


People in prison will soon be made free.\par Those people will not die and rot in prison.\par Those people will have enough food.\par


Look up to the heavens!\par Look around you at the earth below!\par The skies will disappear\par like clouds of smoke.\par The earth will become\par like worthless old clothes.\par The people on earth will die,\par but my Salvation will continue forever.\par My goodness will never end.\par


People will not have to teach their neighbors and relatives to know the Lord. Why? Because all people, from the least important to the greatest, will know me.” This message is from the Lord. “I will forgive them for the bad things they did. I won’t remember their sins.”


Then people everywhere will know about the Glory of the Lord. {\cf2\super [10]} This news will spread like water spreads out into the sea.


The thing you should want most is God’s kingdom and doing the good things God wants you to do. Then all these other things you need will be given to you.


We have much sadness, but we are always rejoicing. We are poor, but we are making many people rich \{in faith\}. We have nothing, but really we have everything.


Training (teaching) your body helps you in some ways. But serving God helps you in every way. Serving God brings you blessings in this life and in the future life too.


It is true that serving God makes a person very rich, if that person is satisfied with what he has.
