So Moses climbed down the mountain and called the elders (rulers) of the people together. Moses told the elders everything the Lord had commanded him to tell them.


Then Moses said to God, “But the people of Israel will not believe me when I tell them that you sent me. They will say, ‘The Lord [30] did not appear to you.’”


He will go with you to Pharaoh. I will tell you what to say. Then you will tell Aaron, and Aaron will choose the right words to speak to Pharaoh.


Aaron will also speak to the people for you. You will be like a great king, and he will be your official speaker. [34]
