Then Moses put the Holy Box into the Holy Tent. [496] He hung the curtain in the right place to protect it. In this way, he protected the Box of the Agreement [497] {behind the curtain} like the Lord had commanded him.

The special cover [265] is on top of that Holy Box. And I appear in a cloud over that special cover. If Aaron goes into that room, he might die!


“When the people of Israel travel to a new place, then Aaron and his sons must go into the Meeting Tent [53] and take down the curtain and cover the Holy Box of the Agreement [54] with it.


When Jesus died, the curtain in the temple {\cf2\super [434]} was torn into two pieces. The tear started at the top and tore all the way to the bottom. Also, the earth shook and rocks were broken.

Because of Christ we now have peace. Christ made us both (Jews and non-Jews) one people. The Jews and the non-Jews were separated like there was a wall between them. They hated each other. But Christ broke down that wall of hate by \{giving\} his own body.
