Solomon brought Pharaoh’s daughter up from the City of David to the house he built for her. Solomon said, “My wife must not live in King David’s house because the places where the Box of the Agreement {\cf2\super [136]} has been are holy places.”

the Meeting Tent, [317] the Box of the Agreement, [318] the cover [319] for the Box,

the Holy Box, [364] its poles, the cover, [365] and the curtain that covers the area where the Box stays;

So all the work on the Holy Tent, [471] that is, the Meeting Tent was finished. The people of Israel did everything exactly like the Lord had commanded Moses.

Their job was to take care of the Holy Box, [38] the table, the lampstand, the altars, and the dishes of the Holy Place. [39] They also cared for the curtain and all the things that were used with the curtain.

“When the people of Israel travel to a new place, then Aaron and his sons must go into the Meeting Tent [53] and take down the curtain and cover the Holy Box of the Agreement [54] with it.

Then they must cover all of this with covering made from fine leather. [55] Then they must spread the solid blue cloth over the leather and put the poles {in the rings on the Holy Box}.

In the Most Holy Place was a golden altar {\cf2\super [94]} for burning incense. {\cf2\super [95]} And also there was the Holy Box of the Agreement. {\cf2\super [96]} The box was covered with gold. Inside this box was a golden jar of manna {\cf2\super [97]} and Aaron’s rod (stick)—the rod that once grew leaves. Also in the box were the flat rocks \{with the Ten Commandments\} of the old agreement \{written on them\}.

Then God’s temple {\cf2\super [89]} in heaven was opened. The Holy Box of the Agreement {\cf2\super [90]} \{that God gave to his people\} could be seen in his temple. Then there were flashes of lightning, noises, thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.
