But Job, you don’t know these things.\par All you know is that you sweat,\par your clothes stick to you,\par and everything is still and quiet\par when the heat wave comes\par from the south.\par


Whirlwinds come from the south.\par The cold winds come from the north.\par


God gave the command,\par and a strong wind began to blow.\par The waves became higher and higher.\par


God stopped the storm.\par He calmed the waves.\par


All rivers flow again and again to the same place. They all flow to the sea, but the sea doesn’t become full.


You don’t know where the wind blows. And you don’t know how a baby grows in its mother’s body. In the same way, you don’t know what God will do—and he makes everything happen.


But the Lord brought a great storm on the sea. The wind made the sea very rough. The storm was very strong and the boat was ready to break apart.


“Every person that hears these things I say and obeys is like a wise man. The wise man built his house on rock.


It rained hard, the water rose, and the winds blew and hit that house. And the house fell with a loud noise.”


The wind blows where it wants to go. You hear the wind blow. But you don’t know where the wind comes from or where the wind is going. It is the same with every person that is born from the Spirit.”
