Isaac grew old, and his eyes became so weak he could not see clearly. One day he called his older son Esau to him. Isaac said, “Son!”


Israel was old and his eyes were not good. So Joseph brought the boys close to his father. Israel kissed and hugged the boys.


You will be like the wheat that grows\par until harvest time.\par Yes, you will live to a ripe old age.\par


They are there to show everyone\par that the Lord is good. {\cf2\super [520]} \par He is my Rock, {\cf2\super [521]} \par and he does nothing wrong. {\cf2\super [522]} \par


Moses was 80 years old at the time, and Aaron was 83.


“When Moses was about 40 years old, he thought it would be good to visit his brothers, the Israelites. {\cf2\super [131]}


“After 40 years Moses was in the desert near Mount Sinai. An angel appeared to him in the flame of a burning bush.


So Moses led the people out. He did powerful things and miracles. {\cf2\super [138]} Moses did these things in Egypt, at the Red Sea, and then in the desert for 40 years.


Moses said to them, “I am now 120 years old. I can’t lead you any more. The Lord said to me: ‘You will not go across the Jordan River.’


The people of Israel cried for Moses for 30 days. They stayed in the Jordan Valley in Moab until the time of sadness was finished.
