The man answered, “Did anyone say you could be our ruler and judge? No! Tell me, will you kill me like you killed the Egyptian yesterday [12] ?”


We were hoping that Jesus would be the one to free Israel (the Jews). But then all this happened. And now something else: It has been three days since \{Jesus was killed\},


Moses saw an Egyptian man doing wrong to an Israelite man. So he defended the Israelite. Moses punished the Egyptian for hurting the Israelite; Moses hit him so hard that he died.
