These horses and chariots [67] of fire came down to Elisha. Elisha prayed to the Lord and said, “I pray that you will cause these people to become blind.”


When they arrived at Samaria, [69] Elisha said, “Lord, open the eyes of these men so they can see.”


Then Jesus said to his followers, “If any person wants to follow me, he must say ‘No’ to the things he wants. That person must accept the cross (suffering) that is given to him, and he must follow me.
