He will go back the same way he came. He will not come into this city. The Lord says this!


I am putting a spirit in him. He will hear a rumor. Then he will run back to his own country. And I will cause him to be killed by a sword in his own country.’”


”Nineveh {\cf2\super [2]} is a big city. I have heard about the many evil things people are doing there. So go to that city and tell the people to stop doing those bad things.”


This book is the vision {\cf2\super [1]} of Nahum from Elkosh. This is the sad message about the city of Nineveh. {\cf2\super [2]}


Nineveh is like a pool whose water\par is draining away.\par People yell,\par “Stop! Stop running away!”\par But it doesn’t do any good!\par


On the judgment day, you people that live now will be compared with the people from Nineveh, {\cf2\super [180]} and they will be witnesses to show that you are wrong (guilty). Why? Because when Jonah preached to those people, they changed their hearts and lives. And you are listening to someone greater than Jonah, \{but you refuse to change\}!
