⁷ That night God came to Solomon. God said, “Solomon, ask me what you want me to give you.”

Then the Lord appeared to Solomon again, just as he had done before in the town of Gibeon.

Jesus asked the man, “What do you want me to do for you?”

In that day you will not ask me for anything. I tell you the truth. My Father will give you anything you ask for in my name.
