Every person should look into his own heart before he eats the bread and drinks the cup.


That is why many in your group are sick and weak. And many have died.


Never do anything that might make other people do wrong—Jews, Greeks (non-Jews), or God’s church.


But if we confess (admit) our sins, then God will forgive our sins. We can trust God to do this. God does what is right. God will make us clean from all the wrong things we have done.


So remember where you were before you fell. Change your hearts and do the things you did at first. If you don’t change, I will come to you. I will take away your lampstand from its place.
