They have cast me forth and now they have surrounded me: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth.


Offer up the sacrifice of justice, and trust in the Lord: many say, Who sheweth us good things?


His eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall see the land far off.


For what is the good thing of him, and what is his beautiful thing, but the corn of the elect, and wine springing forth virgins?


And behold there appeared to them Moses and Elias talking with him.


And it came to pass, that as they were departing from him, Peter saith to Jesus: Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias; not knowing what he said.


Father, I will that where I am, they also whom thou hast given me may be with me; that they may see my glory which thou hast given me, because thou hast loved me before the creation of the world.


Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.


But I am straitened between two: having a desire to be dissolved and to be with Christ, a thing by far the better.


Dearly beloved, we are now the sons of God; and it hath not yet appeared what we shall be. We know, that, when he shall appear, we shall be like to him: because we shall see him as he is.


And the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it. For the glory of God hath enlightened it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.
