I thy servant will go on a little way from the Jordan with thee. I need not this recompense.


And all his brethren came to him, and all his sisters, and all that knew him before. And they ate bread with him in his house, and bemoaned him, and comforted him upon all the evil that God had brought upon him. And every man gave him one ewe, and one earring of gold.


It stretched forth its branches unto the sea, and its boughs unto the river.


Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,


The blessing of the Lord maketh men rich: neither shall affliction be joined to them.


He that hath mercy on the poor, lendeth to the Lord: and he will repay him.


He that is inclined to mercy shall be blessed: for of his bread he hath given to the poor. He that maketh presents shall purchase victory and honour: but he carrieth away the souls of the receivers.


Thou shewest mercy unto thousands and returnest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them. O most mighty, great, and powerful: the Lord of hosts is thy name.


And whosoever shall give to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, amen I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.


For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again.


And he said to them: Take heed what you hear. In what measure you shall mete, it shall be measured to you again, and more shall be given to you.


Give to every one that asketh thee, and of him that taketh away thy goods, ask them not again.
