And they shall eat the flesh that night roasted at the fire: and unleavened bread with wild lettuce.


And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed white, and the taste thereof like to flour with honey.


And unleavened bread, and a cake without leaven, tempered with oil: wafers also unleavened, anointed with oil. Thou shalt make them all of wheaten flour.


BEHOLD my servant: I will uphold him. My elect: my soul delighteth in him. I have given my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.


THE spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me. He hath sent me to preach to the meek, to heal the contrite of heart, and to preach a release to the captives and deliverance to them that are shut up:


And he said to me: This is the place where the priests shall boil the sin offering, and the trespass offering: where they shall dress the sacrifice, that they may not bring it out into the outward court, and the people be sanctified.


And he shall immolate it at the side of the altar that looketh to the north, before the Lord: but the sons of Aaron shall pour the blood thereof upon the altar round about.


And Moses spoke to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his sons that were left: Take the sacrifice that is remaining of the oblation of the Lord, and eat it without leaven beside the altar, because it is holy of holies.


And therefore it shall not be leavened, because part thereof is offered for the burnt sacrifice of the Lord. It shall be most holy, as that which is offered for sin and for trespass.


If the oblation be for thanksgiving, they shall offer loaves without leaven tempered with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and fine flour fried, and cakes tempered and mingled with oil.


A basket also of unleavened bread, tempered with oil, and wafers without leaven anointed with oil, and the libations of each.


Then he saith to them: My soul is sorrowful even unto death: stay you here, and watch with me.


Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour. But for this cause I came unto this hour.


For he whom God hath sent, speaketh the words of God: for God doth not give the Spirit by measure.


For it was fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;


Wherefore laying away all malice, and all guile, and dissimulations, and envies, and all detractions,


Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth.
