He built up also with great diligence all the wall that had been broken down, and built towers upon it, and another wall without. And he repaired Mello in the city of David, and made all sorts of arms and shields.


Of them that built on the wall and that carried burdens, and that laded: with one of his hands he did the work, and with the other he held a sword.


Now I and my brethren, and my servants, and the watchmen that followed me, did not put off our clothes: only every man stripped himself when he was to be washed.


Rescuing his soul from corruption: and his life from passing to the sword.


But if they hear not, they shall pass by the sword: and shall be consumed in folly.


The locust hath no king, yet they all go out by their bands.


Thy plants are a paradise of pomegranates with the fruits of the orchard. Cypress with spikenard.


There is none that shall faint, nor labour among them. They shall not slumber nor sleep, neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken.


They shall run like valiant men: like men of war they shall scale the wall: the men shall march every one on his way, and they shall not turn aside from their ranks.


They shall enter into the city: they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up the houses, they shall come in at the windows as a thief.
