And he called the light Day, and the darkness Night. And there was evening and morning one day.


And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and morning were the second day.


And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made: and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done.


And he blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.


When the morning stars praised me together, and all the sons of God made a joyful melody?


And he increased his people exceedingly: and strengthened them over their enemies,


He sent darkness, and made it obscure: and grieved not his words.


He spoke, and there came divers sorts of flies and sciniphs in all their coasts.


For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and the sea, and all things that are in them, and rested on the seventh day: therefore the Lord blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it.


Between me and the children of Israel, and a perpetual sign. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth: and in the seventh he ceased from work.


The Lord hath made all things for himself: the wicked also for the evil day.


He hath made all things good in their time, and hath delivered the world to their consideration, so that man cannot find out the work which God hath made from the beginning to the end.

The works of God are perfect, and all his ways are judgments: God is faithful and without any iniquity; he is just and right.


For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be rejected that is received with thanksgiving:


For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
