A psalm for David. Judge me, O God, and distinguish my cause from the nation that is not holy: deliver me from the unjust and deceitful man.


Till the arrow pierce his liver: as if a bird should make haste to the snare, and knoweth not that his life is in danger.


Thus saith the Lord: If my covenant with the day can be made void, and my covenant with the night, that there should not be day and night in their season:


The sun and the moon stood still in their habitation, in the light of thy arrows, they shall go in the brightness of thy glittering spear.
