A passionate man stirreth up strifes: he that is patient appeaseth those that are stirred up.


But they holding Jesus led him to Caiphas the high priest, where the scribes and the ancients were assembled.


But I say to you, that whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be in danger of the judgment. And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council. And whosoever shall say, Thou Fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.


AND it came to pass, that on one of the days, as he was teaching the people in the temple, and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes, with the ancients, met together,


But the Jews stirred up religious and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas: and cast them out of their coasts.


But the unbelieving Jews stirred up and incensed the minds of the Gentiles against the brethren.


And when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was also preached by Paul at Berea, they came thither also, stirring up and troubling the multitude.

Then they suborned men to say, they had heard him speak words of blasphemy against Moses and against God.
