And when you shall be multiplied and increase in the land in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more: The ark of the covenant of the Lord. Neither shall it come upon the heart, neither shall they remember it, neither shall it be visited, neither shall that be done any more.


Trust not in lying words, saying: The temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, it is the temple of the Lord.

And Saul said to Achias: Bring the ark of the Lord. (For the ark of God was there that day with the children of Israel.)


And put their army in array against Israel. And when they had joined battle, Israel turned their backs to the Philistines. And there was slain in that fight here and there in the fields about four thousand men.
