He shall drive him out of light into darkness, and shall remove him out of the world.


His bones are like pipes of brass, his gristle like plates of iron.


And to the needy there shall he hope: but iniquity shall draw in her mouth.


And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle is in peace: and visiting thy beauty thou shalt not sin:


For the Lord knoweth the way of the just: and the way of the wicked shall perish.


And they sacrificed their sons, and their daughters to devils.


Jerusalem, which is built as a city, which is compact together.


Because their seats have sat in judgment, seats upon the house of David.


For the sake of my brethren, and of my neighbours, I spoke peace of thee.


The heart of man disposeth his way: but the Lord must direct his steps.


Keeping the paths of justice, and guarding the ways of saints.


For the Lord will be at thy side, and will keep thy foot that thou be not taken.


This therefore hath seemed good to me, that a man should eat and drink, and enjoy the fruit of his labour, wherewith he hath laboured under the sun, all the days of his life, which God hath given him: and this is his portion.


I turned me to another thing, and I saw that under the sun, the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the learned, nor favour to the skilful: but time and chance in all.


I am the Lord that keep it, I will suddenly give it drink: lest any hurt come to it, I keep it night and day.


Sit thou silent and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called the lady of kingdoms.


Why do we sit still? Assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fenced city, and let us be silent there. For the Lord our God hath put us to silence and hath given us water of gall to drink: for we have sinned against the Lord.


Thus saith the Lord: Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, and let not the strong man glory in his strength, and let not the rich man glory in his riches:


But with a flood that passeth by, he will make an utter end of the place thereof: and darkness shall pursue his enemies.


That day is a day of wrath, a day of tribulation and distress, a day of calamity and misery, a day of darkness and obscurity, a day of clouds and whirlwinds,


And he answered, and spoke to me, saying: This is the word of the Lord to Zorobabel, saying: Not with an army, nor by might, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.


The Lord bless thee, and keep thee.


But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into the exterior darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.


Now we know, that what things soever the law speaketh, it speaketh to them that are in the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be made subject to God.


He hath loved the people: all the saints are in his hand. And they that approach to his feet shall receive of his doctrine.


Who, by the power of God, are kept by faith unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.


These are fountains without water, and clouds tossed with whirlwinds, to whom the mist of darkness is reserved.


Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James: to them that are beloved in God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called.


Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own confusion; wandering stars, to whom the storm of darkness is reserved for ever.


Dearly beloved, taking all care to write unto you concerning your common salvation, I was under a necessity to write unto you: to beseech you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints.


Now therefore, my lord, the Lord liveth, and thy soul liveth, who hath withholden thee from coming to blood, and hath saved thy hand to thee: and now let thy enemies be as Nabal, and all they that seek evil to my lord.
