They have said: Come and let us destroy them, so that they be not a nation: and let the name of Israel be remembered no more.


Who leave the right way, and walk by dark ways:


Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name?


But if he walk in the night, he stumbleth, because the light is not in him.


Jesus therefore said to them: Yet a little while, the light is among you. Walk whilst you have the light, that the darkness overtake you not. And he that walketh in darkness, knoweth not whither he goeth.


I am come a light into the world; that whosoever believeth in me, may not remain in darkness.


Again therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying: I am the light of the world: he that followeth me, walketh not in darkness, but shall have the light of life.


And you have not known him, but I know him. And if I shall say that I know him not, I shall be like to you, a liar. But I do know him, and do keep his word.


Speaking lies in hypocrisy, and having their conscience seared,


What shall it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but hath not works? Shall faith be able to save him?


And one of you say to them: Go in peace, be ye warmed and filled; yet give them not those things that are necessary for the body, what shall it profit?


But some man will say: Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without works; and I will shew thee, by works, my faith.


If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.


That which we have seen and have heard, we declare unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us, and our fellowship may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.


If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.


He who saith that he knoweth him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.


If any man say, I love God, and hateth his brother; he is a liar. For he that loveth not his brother, whom he seeth, how can he love God, whom he seeth not?
