Behold, my eye hath seen all these things, and my ear hath heard them: and I have understood them all.


The Lord hath said to me: Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee.


And I will set a sign among them, and I will send of them that shall be saved, to the Gentiles into the sea, into Africa and Lydia, them that draw the bow: into Italy and Greece, to the islands afar off, to them that have not heard of me and have not seen my glory. And they shall declare my glory to the Gentiles:


And if thou comest with us, we will give thee what is the best of the riches which the Lord shall deliver to us.


And now I am not in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name whom thou has given me; that they may be one, as we also are.


That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.


Just Father, the world hath not known thee; but I have known thee: and these have known that thou hast sent me.


Now this is eternal life: That they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.


And he that saw it, hath given testimony, and his testimony is true. And he knoweth that he saith true; that you also may believe.


And we declare unto you, that the promise which was made to our fathers,


Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which you will not believe, if any man shall tell it you.


And they were persevering in the doctrine of the apostles, and in the communication of the breaking of bread, and in prayers.


For I have not spared to declare unto you all the counsel of God.


For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.


For it hath pleased them; and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they ought also in carnal things to minister to them.


But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and justice, and sanctification, and redemption:


God is faithful: by whom you are called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.


NOW I make known unto you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand;


That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and co-partners of his promise in Christ Jesus, by the gospel:


As it is meet for me to think this for you all, for that I have you in my heart; and that in my bands, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of my joy.


If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of charity, if any society of the spirit, if any bowels of commiseration:


That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his death,


Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love,


And to wait for his Son from heaven (whom he raised up from the dead,) Jesus, who hath delivered us from the wrath to come.


But they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but serve them the rather, because they are faithful and beloved, who are partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.


I will declare thy name to my brethren; in the midst of the church will I praise thee.


Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly vocation, consider the apostle and high priest of our confession, Jesus:


For we are made partakers of Christ: yet so, if we hold the beginning of his substance firm unto the end.


The ancients therefore that are among you, I beseech, who am myself also an ancient, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ: as also a partaker of that glory which is to be revealed in time to come:


For we have not by following artificial fables, made known to you the power, and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ; but we were eyewitnesses of his greatness.


That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life:


And this is the declaration which we have heard from him, and declare unto you: That God is light, and in him there is no darkness.


But if we walk in the light, as he also is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
