The man that in private detracted his neighbour, him did I persecute. With him that had a proud eye, and an unsatiable heart, I would not eat.


And justice shall be the girdle of his loins: and faith the girdle of his reins.


O Lord, thou art my God. I will exalt thee, and give glory to thy name: for thou hast done wonderful things, thy designs of old, faithful. Amen.


Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One, to the soul that is despised, to the nation that is abhorred, to the servant of rulers: Kings shall see, and princes shall rise up, and adore for the Lord's sake, because he is faithful, and for the Holy One of Israel who hath chosen thee.


God is not a man, that he should lie: nor as the son of man, that he should be changed. Hath he said then, and will he not do? Hath he spoken, and will he not fulfil?


Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass.


That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.


And if some of the branches be broken, and thou, being a wild olive, art ingrafted in them, and art made partaker of the root, and of the fatness of the olive tree,


And we know that to them that love God, all things work together unto good, to such as, according to his purpose, are called to be saints.


And whom he predestinated, them he also called. And whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified.


Even us, whom also he hath called, nor only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles.


But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and justice, and sanctification, and redemption:


Let no temptation take hold on you, but such as is human. And God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you are able: but will make also with temptation issue, that you may be able to bear it.


The chalice of benediction, which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? And the bread, which we break, is it not the partaking of the body of the Lord?


But God is faithful, for our preaching which was to you, was not, It is, and It is not.


But when it pleased him, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,


And I live, now not I; but Christ liveth in me. And that I live now in the flesh: I live in the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered himself for me.


That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and co-partners of his promise in Christ Jesus, by the gospel:


The works of God are perfect, and all his ways are judgments: God is faithful and without any iniquity; he is just and right.


And thou shalt know that the Lord thy God, he is a strong and faithful God, keeping his covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments, unto a thousand generations:


Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up those things that are wanting of the sufferings of Christ, in my flesh, for his body, which is the church:


We testified to every one of you, that you would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.


Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle.


But God is faithful, who will strengthen and keep you from evil.


Who hath delivered us and called us by his holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the times of the world.


If we believe not, he continueth faithful, he can not deny himself.


Unto the hope of life everlasting, which God, who lieth not, hath promised before the times of the world:


Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering (for he is faithful that hath promised),


By faith also Sara herself, being barren, received strength to conceive seed, even past the time of age; because she believed that he was faithful who had promised,


Wherefore it behoved him in all things to be made like unto his brethren, that he might become a merciful and faithful priest before God, that he might be a propitiation for the sins of the people.


Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly vocation, consider the apostle and high priest of our confession, Jesus:


For we are made partakers of Christ: yet so, if we hold the beginning of his substance firm unto the end.


That by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have the strongest comfort, who have fled for refuge to hold fast the hope set before us.


But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, will himself perfect you, and confirm you, and establish you.


That which we have seen and have heard, we declare unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us, and our fellowship may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.


But if we walk in the light, as he also is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.


In this we know that we abide in him, and he in us: because he hath given us of his spirit.


And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called faithful and true, and with justice doth he judge and fight.
