because Abraham listened to me and kept my mandate, my commands, my statutes, and my instructions.’


and keep your obligation to the Lord your God to walk in his ways and to keep his statutes, commands, ordinances, and decrees. This is written in the law of Moses, so that you will have success in everything you do  and wherever you turn,


If you walk in my ways and keep my statutes and commands just as your father David did, I will give you a long life.’


They are to carry out their responsibilities for the tent of meeting, for the holy place,  and for their relatives, the descendants of Aaron,  in the service of the Lord’s temple.’


For those who gather grain will eat it and praise the  Lord, and those who harvest the grapes will drink the wine in my holy courts.


You have not kept charge of my holy things  but have appointed others to keep charge of my sanctuary for you.”


It is for the consecrated priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept my charge  and did not go astray as the Levites did when the Israelites went astray.


Moses said to Aaron, ‘This is what the Lord has spoken: I will demonstrate my holiness  , to those who are near me, and I will reveal my glory  , before all the people.’ And Aaron remained silent.


You must remain at the entrance to the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and keep the Lord’s charge  so that you will not die,  for this is what I was commanded.’


Then the angel of the Lord charged Joshua,


‘These are the two anointed ones,’  , he said, ‘who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.’


People who are far off will come and build the Lord’s temple, and you will know that the Lord of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen when you fully obey the Lord your God.’


The angel told me, ‘These are the four spirits  , of heaven going out after presenting themselves to the Lord of the whole earth.


Jesus said to them, ‘Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things,   when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne,   you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.


so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom.   And you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.


In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going   to prepare a place for you?


‘To the one who conquers I will give the right to sit with me on my throne,   just as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
