So they named that place Kibroth-hattaavah,  because there they buried the people who had craved the meat.


The rabble  among them  had a strong craving  for other food. The Israelites wept again and said, ‘Who will feed us meat?


What then did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothes? See, those who wear soft clothes are in royal palaces.


‘But God said to him, “You fool!   This very night your life is demanded of you. And the things you have prepared #– #whose will they be? ”


‘ “Son,”   Abraham said, “remember that during your life you received your good things,   just as Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here,   while you are in agony.


Now these things took place as examples for us, so that we will not desire  evil things as they did.  ,


You desire and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and wage war.  You do not have because you do not ask.


cinnamon, spice,  incense, myrrh,  and frankincense; wine, olive oil, fine flour, and grain; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and slaves #– #human lives.


The merchants of these things, who became rich from her, will stand far off in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,
