He was hiding with them in God’s temple for six years while Athaliah reigned over the land.


In every province and every city where the king’s command and edict reached, gladness and joy took place among the Jews. There was a celebration and a holiday.  , And many of the ethnic groups of the land professed themselves to be Jews because fear of the Jews  had overcome them.


They push the needy off the road; the poor of the land are forced into hiding.


When the righteous triumph, there is great rejoicing, but when the wicked come to power, people hide.


The one who gives to the poor will not be in need, but one who turns his eyes away will receive many curses.


One who becomes stiff-necked, after many reprimands will be shattered instantly – beyond recovery.


When the righteous flourish, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, people groan.
