But now, for a brief moment, grace has come from the Lord our God to preserve a remnant  for us and give us a stake  in his holy place. Even in our slavery, God has given us a little relief and light to our eyes.


Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down, but a good word cheers it up.


The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is put out.


The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.


One who  listens to life-giving rebukes will be at home among the wise.


A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.


Good news from a distant land is like cold water to a parched throat.  ,


This will be healing for your body  , and strengthening for your bones.


Light is sweet, and it is pleasing for the eyes to see the sun.


The Lord will always lead you, satisfy you in a parched land, and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden and like a spring whose water never runs dry.


The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.


Night will be no more;  people will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light,  and they will reign for ever and ever.
