So God was good to the midwives,  and the people multiplied and became very numerous.


but they set an ambush to kill themselves; they attack their own lives.


The reward of the righteous is life; the wages of the wicked is punishment.


The one who sows injustice will reap disaster, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed.


A wicked man’s iniquities will trap him; he will become tangled in the ropes of his own sin.


The one who digs a pit may fall into it, and the one who breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake.


Their hearts are devious;  , now they must bear their guilt. The Lord will break down their altars and demolish their sacred pillars.


The reaper is already receiving pay and gathering fruit for eternal life,   so that the sower and reaper can rejoice together.


to take off  , your former way of life,  the old self  that is corrupted by deceitful desires,


And the fruit of righteousness  is sown in peace by those who cultivate peace.
