Wake up, wake up! Arm of the  Lord, clothe yourself with strength. Wake up as in days past, as in generations long ago. Wasn’t it you who hacked Rahab to pieces, who pierced the sea monster?


when I sharpen my flashing sword, and my hand takes hold of judgement, I will take vengeance on my adversaries and repay those who hate me.


But he directly pays back  and destroys those who hate him.  He will not hesitate to pay back directly  the one who hates him.


When the troops returned to the camp, the elders of Israel asked, ‘Why did the Lord defeat us today before the Philistines?  Let’s bring the ark of the Lord’s covenant from Shiloh. Then it  will go with us and save us from our enemies.’
