My anger will burn, and I will kill you with the sword; then your wives will be widows and your children fatherless.


‘If you lend silver to my people, to the poor person among you, you must not be like a creditor to him; you must not charge him interest.


Better an open reprimand than concealed love.


Those who reject the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law pit themselves against them.


People who live in you accept bribes in order to shed blood.  You take interest and profit on a loan and brutally extort your neighbours.  You have forgotten me.  This is the declaration of the Lord God.


‘This is what the Lord God says: You have gone too far,  , princes of Israel! Put away violence and oppression and do what is just and right.  Put an end to your evictions of my people.’ This is the declaration of the Lord God.


‘Do not act unjustly  when deciding a case. Do not be partial  to the poor or give preference to the rich;  judge your neighbour fairly.


Do not profit or take interest from him,  but fear your God and let your brother live among you.


If he doesn’t pay attention to them, tell the church.   , If he doesn’t pay attention even to the church, let him be like a Gentile and a tax collector to you.


From now on, then, we do not know anyone from a worldly perspective.  Even if we have known Christ from a worldly perspective,  yet now we no longer know him in this way.


But when Cephas  came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.


Publicly rebuke those who sin, so that the rest will be afraid.


Proclaim these things; encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard  you.
