‘ “This is what the Lord God says: On that day, thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will devise an evil plan.


Knowing their thoughts,  he told them, ‘Every kingdom divided against itself is headed for destruction, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.


But knowing their hypocrisy,  he said to them, ‘Why are you testing   me? Bring me a denarius   , to look at.’


Straight away  Jesus perceived in his spirit  that they were thinking like this within themselves and said to them, ‘Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?


Knowing their thoughts,  he told them, ‘Every kingdom divided   against itself is headed for destruction, and a house divided against itself falls.


But perceiving their thoughts, Jesus replied to them, ‘Why are you thinking this in your hearts?


But he knew their thoughts  and told the man with the shrivelled hand, ‘Get up and stand here.’   So he got up and stood there.


Jesus replied to him, ‘Simon, I have something to say to you.’ He said, ‘Say it, teacher.’


Jesus knew they wanted to ask him, and so he said to them, ‘Are you asking one another about what I said, “In a little while, you will not see me; again in a little while, you will see me”?


Now we know that you know everything  and don’t need anyone to question you. By this we believe that you came from God.’


He asked him the third time, ‘Simon, son of John, do you love   me? ’ Peter was grieved  that he asked him the third time, ‘Do you love me? ’ He said, ‘Lord, you know everything;  you know that I love you.’ ‘Feed   my sheep,’ Jesus said.


Jesus, knowing in himself  that his disciples were grumbling about this, asked them, ‘Does this offend you?


But there are some among you who don’t believe.’ (For Jesus knew from the beginning  those who did not  believe and the one who would betray  him.)


Then Peter said to her, ‘Why did you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.’


I will strike her children dead.   , Then all the churches will know that I am the one who examines minds and hearts,   and I will give to each of you according to your works.
