How can someone enter a strong man’s house and steal his possessions unless he first ties up   the strong man? Then he can plunder his house.


Let both grow together until the harvest. At harvest time I’ll tell the reapers: Gather the weeds first and tie them in bundles to burn them, but collect the wheat in my barn.” ’

‘Truly I tell you,   when you were younger, you would tie your belt and walk wherever you wanted. But when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will tie you and carry you where you don’t want to go.’

They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction  from the Lord’s presence  and from his glorious strength


These people are springs without water, mists driven by a storm. The gloom of darkness has been reserved for them.


For if God didn’t spare  the angels who sinned but cast them into hell  , and delivered them in chains  of utter darkness to be kept for judgement;


They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shameful deeds; wandering stars  for whom the blackness of darkness  is reserved for ever.


and the angels  who did not keep their own position but abandoned their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains in deep darkness for the judgement on the great day.


Nothing unclean will ever enter it,  nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those written in the Lamb’s book of life.
