Now the whole clan has risen up against your servant and said, “Hand over the one who killed his brother so we may put him to death for the life of the brother he murdered. We will eliminate the heir! ” They would extinguish my one remaining ember by not preserving my husband’s name or posterity on earth.’


Now please come and let me advise you.  Save your life and the life of your son Solomon.


When the time came to harvest fruit, he sent his servants to the farmers to collect his fruit.


Finally, he sent his son to them. “They will respect my son,” he said.


So they seized him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.


‘But when the tenant farmers saw him, they discussed it among themselves and said, “This is the heir. Let’s kill him, so that the inheritance will be ours.”


In these last days,  he has spoken to us by his Son. God has appointed him heir of all things  and made the universe  , through him.
