Then the master of that servant had compassion, released him, and forgave him the loan.


When the other servants saw what had taken place, they were deeply distressed and went and reported to their master everything that had happened.


Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you? ”


‘His master replied to him, “You evil, lazy servant!   If you knew that I reap where I haven’t sown and gather where I haven’t scattered,


‘He told him, “I will condemn you by what you have said, you evil servant! If you knew I was a harsh man, collecting what I didn’t deposit and reaping what I didn’t sow,


Now we know that whatever the law says,  it speaks to those who are subject to the law,  , so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become subject to God’s judgement.  ,


For judgement is without mercy to the one who has not shown mercy.  Mercy triumphs over judgement.
