Your eyes will see the King in his beauty; you will see a vast land.


How lovely and beautiful! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine, the young women.


Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with him.


As the two men were departing from him, Peter said to Jesus, ‘Master,  it’s good for us to be here. Let’s set up three shelters: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah’ #– #not knowing what he was saying.


‘Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am,   so that they will see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the world’s foundation.


The Jewish Festival of Shelters  , was near.


I am torn between the two. I long to depart and be with Christ   #– #which is far better   #– #


Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed.  We know that when he appears,  we will be like him  because we will see him as he is.


The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
