I will open rivers on the barren heights, and springs in the middle of the plains. I will turn the desert into a pool and dry land into springs.


Then it says, “I’ll go back to my house which I came from.” Returning, it finds the house vacant, swept, and put in order.


Suddenly they shouted, ‘What do you have to do with us,  Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time? ’


Even Simon himself believed. And after he was baptised, he followed Philip everywhere and was amazed as he observed the signs and great miracles  that were being performed.


Be sober-minded,  be alert.  Your adversary the devil  is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.
