The whole world wanted an audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom that God had put in his heart.


I will therefore do what you have asked.  I will give you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has never been anyone like you before and never will be again.


All Israel heard about the judgement the king had given, and they stood in awe of the king because they saw that God’s wisdom  was in him to carry out justice.


So give your servant a receptive heart to judge  your people and to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of yours? ’


God gave Solomon wisdom, very great insight, and understanding  as vast as the sand on the seashore.


Emissaries of all peoples, sent by every king on earth who had heard of his wisdom, came to listen to Solomon’s wisdom.


The Lord gave Solomon wisdom, as he had promised him.  There was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a treaty.


Therefore, the Lord himself will give you  a sign: See, the virgin will conceive,  have a son, and name him Immanuel.  ,


The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgement with this generation and condemn it,   because they repented at Jonah’s preaching; and look #– #something greater than Jonah is here.


I tell you that something greater than the temple is here.


While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud covered  them, and a voice from the cloud said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased. Listen to him! ’


And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased.’


The Word  became flesh  and dwelt  among us. We observed his glory,  the glory as the one and only  Son  from the Father, full of grace and truth.


No one has ever seen God. The one and only  Son, who is himself God and is at the Father’s  side   #– #he has revealed him.


And it is not across the sea so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea, get it for us, and proclaim it to us so that we may follow it? ”
