He sent his servants to summon those invited to the banquet,   but they didn’t want to come.


Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, along the road by the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.


He  summoned  the Twelve  and began to send  them out in pairs and gave them authority over unclean  spirits.


After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two  others, and he sent them ahead of him in pairs to every town and place where he himself was about to go.


But a Samaritan   on his journey came up to him, and when he saw the man, he had compassion.


He fell face down  at his feet, thanking him. And he was a Samaritan.


Summoning the Twelve,  he gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases.


Then he sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.


As you sent me into the world,   I also have sent them into the world.


Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me,   I also send you.’


Our ancestors worshipped on this mountain,  but you Jews say that the place to worship is in Jerusalem.’


so he came to a town of Samaria called Sychar near the property  that Jacob  had given his son Joseph.


‘How is it that you, a Jew,  ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan  woman? ’ she asked him. For Jews do not associate with  Samaritans.


Then the Jews  said to one another, ‘Where does he intend to go that we won’t find him? He doesn’t intend to go to the Jewish people dispersed  , among the Greeks  and teach the Greeks, does he?


The Jews responded to him, ‘Aren’t we right in saying that you’re a Samaritan  and have a demon? ’


But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’


The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were amazed because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles.


Saul agreed with putting him to death. On that day a severe persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout the land of Judea and Samaria.


by keeping us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. As a result, they are constantly filling up their sins to the limit,  and wrath has overtaken them at last.
