If you say, ‘How will we pursue him, since the root of the problem lies with him? ’


and blessed is the one who isn’t offended by me.’


Therefore,   I tell you, people will be forgiven every sin and blasphemy,   but the blasphemy against   the Spirit will not be forgiven.


But he has no root and is short-lived. When distress or persecution   comes because of the word, immediately he falls away.


And others are like seed sown on rocky ground. When they hear the word, immediately they receive it with joy.


Others are like seed sown among thorns; these are the ones who hear the word,


Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven,   but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit   will not be forgiven.


Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, ‘If you continue in my word,   , you really are my disciples.


Those who want to make a good impression in the flesh  are the ones who would compel you to be circumcised   #– #but only to avoid being persecuted  for the cross  of Christ.


You know that all those in the province of Asia  have deserted me,  including Phygelus and Hermogenes.


because Demas  has deserted me,  since he loved this present world, and has gone to Thessalonica.  Crescens has gone to Galatia,  Titus  to Dalmatia.


At my first defence, no one stood by me, but everyone deserted me.  May it not be counted against them.


How much worse punishment do you think one will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God, who has regarded as profane  the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?


They went out from us, but they did not belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. However, they went out so that it might be made clear that none of them belongs to us.


Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. Look, the devil   is about to throw some of you into prison to test you, and you will experience affliction for ten days.   Be faithful to the point of death,   and I will give you the crown   of life.


I know   where you live #– #where Satan’s throne is. Yet you are holding on to my name and did not deny your faith in me,   , even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness   who was put to death among you, where Satan lives.
