He  summoned  the Twelve  and began to send  them out in pairs and gave them authority over unclean  spirits.


Then he said to his disciples, ‘Therefore I tell you,   don’t worry about your life, what you will eat; or about the body, what you will wear.


If that’s how God clothes the grass, which is in the field today and is thrown into the furnace tomorrow, how much more will he do for you #– #you of little faith?


He also said to them, ‘When I sent you out   without money-bag, travelling bag, or sandals, did you lack anything? ’ ‘Not a thing,’ they said.


He replied to them, ‘The one who has two shirts must share with someone who has none, and the one who has food must do the same.’


Then Levi hosted a grand banquet for him at his house. Now there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining at the table with them.


Whatever house you enter, stay there and leave from there.


No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in the concerns of civilian life; he seeks to please the commanding officer.
