Therefore the Lord God said: ‘Look, I have laid a stone  in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will be unshakable.  ,


The cornerstone,  the tent peg, the battle bow,  and every ruler – all will go out from him together.


Notice the stone  I have set before Joshua; on that one stone are seven eyes.  I will engrave an inscription on it’ #– #this is the declaration of the Lord of Armies #– #‘and I will take away the iniquity of this land in a single day.


Jesus said to them, ‘Have you never read in the Scriptures: The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is what the Lord has done and it is wonderful in our eyes?   ,

But this happened so that the statement written in their law might be fulfilled:   They hated me for no reason.   ,


This Jesus is the stone rejected by you builders, which has become the cornerstone.   ,


built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets,  with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.


For it stands in Scripture: See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and honoured    cornerstone, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.   ,
