let a wise person listen and increase learning, and let a discerning person obtain guidance –


The Lord’s lamp sheds light on a person’s life, searching the innermost parts.  ,


For a command is a lamp, teaching is a light, and corrective discipline is the way to life.


I will lead the blind by a way they did not know; I will guide them on paths they have not known. I will turn darkness to light in front of them and rough places into level ground. This is what I will do for them, and I will not abandon them.


Go to God’s instruction and testimony!  If they do not speak according to this word, there will be no dawn for them.


Let’s strive to know the  Lord. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.


‘Therefore,’ he said to them, ‘every teacher of the law   who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom treasures new and old.’


No one lights a lamp   and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house.


Take care, then, that the light in you is not darkness.


As he was speaking, a Pharisee  asked him to dine with him. So he went in and reclined at the table.


For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness’,  has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge  of God’s glory  in the face of Jesus Christ.


Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching,  by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit.


Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs,  singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.


But solid food is for the mature #– #for those whose senses have been trained to distinguish between good and evil.


But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer who works #– #this person will be blessed in what he does.


But grow in the grace and knowledge  of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.  ,
