Then the Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah,  and God struck him dead on the spot for his irreverence,  and he died there next to the ark of God.


and he went and found the corpse thrown on the road with the donkey and the lion standing beside the corpse. The lion had not eaten the corpse or mauled the donkey.


Then the Lord’s fire fell and consumed the burnt offering, the wood, the stones, and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench.


Elijah responded to the captain, ‘If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.’ Then fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.

But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and they had no sons, so Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests.


He was still speaking when another messenger came and reported, ‘God’s fire fell from heaven.  It burned the sheep and the servants and devoured them, and I alone have escaped to tell you! ’


Then he said to Moses, ‘Go up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of Israel’s elders,  and bow in worship at a distance.


Indeed! Topheth has been ready for the king for a long time. Its funeral pyre is deep and wide, with plenty of fire and wood. The breath of the Lord,  like a torrent of burning sulphur, kindles it.


So they came forward and carried them in their tunics outside the camp, as Moses had said.

But those who died from the plague numbered 14,700, in addition to those who died because of the Korah incident.


but Nadab and Abihu died when they presented unauthorised fire before the Lord.


Instantly she dropped dead at his feet. When the young men came in, they found her dead, carried her out, and buried her beside her husband.


When he heard these words, Ananias dropped dead, and a great fear came on all who heard.


These things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our instruction,  on whom the ends of the ages  , have come.


God struck down the people of Beth-shemesh because they looked inside the ark of the Lord.  , He struck down seventy persons.  The people mourned because the Lord struck them with a great slaughter.
