saying: Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will leave this life.  , The Lord gives, and the  Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the  Lord.


The grapevine is dried up, and the fig tree is withered; the pomegranate,  the date palm,  and the apple   – all the trees of the orchard #– #have withered. Indeed, human joy has dried up.


Then the Lord God appointed a plant, and it grew over Jonah to provide shade for his head to rescue him from his trouble.  Jonah was greatly pleased with the plant.
