But whoever disobeys (is unbelieving toward, refuses to trust in, disregards, is not subject to) the Son will never see (experience) life, but [instead] the wrath of God abides on him. “Because they did not remain loyal to me,  none of the men twenty years old or more who came up from Egypt will see the land I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob   #– #


‘And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.’


Whoever believes   and is baptised will be saved,   but whoever does not believe will be condemned.


For my eyes have seen your salvation.


and everyone will see the salvation of God.   ,


But to all who did receive  him,  he gave them the right  to be  children  of God,  to those who believe  in his name,


I give them eternal life,   and they will never perish.   No one will snatch   them out of my hand.


Jesus replied, ‘Truly I tell you, unless someone is born again,   , he cannot see the kingdom of God.’


The reaper is already receiving pay and gathering fruit for eternal life,   so that the sower and reaper can rejoice together.


‘Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life   and will not come under judgement but has passed from death to life.


This is the bread that came down from heaven; it is not like the manna   your ancestors ate #– #and they died. The one who eats this bread will live for ever.’


Truly I tell you, if anyone keeps my word,   he will never see death.’


But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers.


because the law produces wrath.  And where there is no law,  there is no transgression.


How much more then, since we have now been justified by his blood,  shall we be saved through him from wrath.


Therefore, there is now no condemnation  for those in  Christ Jesus,  ,


For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse,  because it is written,  Everyone who does not do everything written in the book of the law is cursed.   ,


Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for God’s wrath  is coming on the disobedient  because of these things.


and to wait  for his Son  from heaven, whom he raised from the dead   #– #Jesus, who rescues us  from the coming wrath.


For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord  Jesus Christ,


How much worse punishment do you think one will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God, who has regarded as profane  the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?


how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?  This salvation had its beginning when it was spoken of by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us by those who heard him.


And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, if not to those who disobeyed?


So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.


But the cowards, faithless,  detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars   #– #their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur,  which is the second death.’
