Jesus came near and said to them, ‘All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.


(John testified concerning him and exclaimed, ‘This was the one of whom I said, “The one coming after me  ranks ahead of me,  because he existed before me.” ’)


He is the one coming after me,  , whose sandal strap I’m not worthy to untie.’


This is the one I told you about: “After me comes a man who ranks ahead of me, because he existed before me.”


He must increase, but I must decrease.’


For the bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.’


I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread he will live   for ever.   The bread that I will give for the life   of the world is my flesh.’


‘You are from below,’ he told them, ‘I am from above.   You are of this world;   I am not of this world.


He sent the message to the Israelites, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ #– #he is Lord of all.


The ancestors are theirs,  and from them, by physical descent,  came the Christ,  who is God  over all,  praised forever.  , Amen.


Now the first covenant also had regulations for ministry and an earthly sanctuary.


who has gone into heaven  and is at the right hand of God  with angels, authorities, and powers subject to him.


They are from the world.  Therefore what they say is from the world, and the world listens to them.


And he has a name written on his robe and on his thigh: King of Kings and L ord of L ords.
