‘Master,’  Simon replied, ‘we’ve worked hard all night long and caught nothing. But if you say so, I’ll let down the nets.’


When daybreak came, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not know it was Jesus.


and since they were of the same occupation, tentmakers by trade,  he stayed with them and worked.


You yourselves know that I worked with my own hands to support myself and those who are with me.


So, then, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.


Or do only Barnabas  and I have no right to refrain from working?


For you remember our labour and hardship, brothers and sisters. Working  night and day so that we would not burden any of you, we preached God’s gospel to you.
